"The Ceibo´s nails" Illustrated tale · Personal project unpublished.

A woman sitting on a bench in a public square feels overwhelmed. A ceibo* flower that falls on her lap brings memories of her childhood, especially her grandfather and his stories about trees. While she revisits those fantastic, exaggerated tales about lapachos, jacarandas and ceibos which frightened her as a child, the woman she is today gets her happiness and courage back.

*Ceibo: cockspur coral tree, Erythrina crista-galli, the national flower of Argentina.
